Notice is herby given that the Assessment Roll for the Resort Village of Shields for the year of 2023 has been prepared and is open for inspection from April 4, 2023 – May 4, 2023, at the office of the assessor from 1:00pm-4:00pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.
A bylaw pursuant to Section 214 of The Municipalities Act has been passed and the assessment notices have been sent as required.
Any person who wishes to appeal their assessment should directly contact the Board of Revision Secretary, Kristen Tokaryk, Box 149, Meota, SK S0M 1X0, by the 4th day of May 2023.
An appeal fee of $50 is required to be remitted with the appeal. Successful appeals will have the fee refunded.
Please note that this is not a full revaluation year, as these only occur every four years. The next revaluation will be completed in 2025.
Since this is not a revaluation year, Assessment Notices have been mailed to only those property owners with changes to their assessments and to new property owners.
