In conjunction with the Resort Village’s “FRIENDS OF COMMUNITIES IN BLOOM PROJECT” the Village of Shields wish to recognize Home Owners creativity involving BEAUTIFICATION of individual yards.
Some ideas is the addition of flowering plants, planters, containers, heritage garden Art, addition of Decor elements, vegetables and herbs.
All of this is yours to enjoy, the community to admire and the birds, butterflies and bees to enjoy the fragrances, the colors, and the joy to watch the pollinators in action.
The Horticulture Committee for the Village would be pleased if residents would participate in this
beautification contest. Your property would be judged (with your permission). Judging would take place during the month of July, 2021.
