Water Security Agency (WSA) provided an update on the water level in the Blackstrap reservoir on Friday, July 14, 2023. WSA apologized for the shut down due to pump issues. The pumps have been repaired and are working. They have also added additional pumping capacity to increase flows and improve the water level. However, the water level has not yet returned to the normal range. This is a result of demand and usage from the system. WSA will continue to monitor the situation and work with all stakeholders to ensure that water flow remains adequate.
