Cottage Owners – RE: Drainage of Wetlands

Please see the information below from the Provincial Association of Resort Communities of Saskatchewan concerning an upcoming webinar entitled ENVIRONMENTAL PANEL ON IMPORTANCE OF WETLANDS TO RESORT COMMUNITIES AND POLICY CHANGES.

Hello to Cottage Resort Owners in Saskatchewan’s 42 resort villages:

1st, we invite you to read the article attached to this letter.  You may be disappointed to learn that Saskatchewan is the only province that does not have a policy about the drainage of wetlands that feed into our lakes.

2nd, we invite you to sign up to watch Dr. Leavitt address Saskatchewan cottage communities (along with 3 other expert advocates for preventing sick lakes) on Friday, October 14 from 10:00 am to noon.  This keynote address kicks off our virtual convention and is FREE to anyone who has advance registered.

  • All you need to do to advance register is to click on the link below.  You will be asked for your first and second name, plus your email address.  You will receive a reply saying that you have been registered.
